Autobiography

My name is 杜美玲; my English name is Amy. I am applying for vacancy of derivative financial products trader which you advertised on the employment web page on the April twenty-ninth.
　I hold a bachelor's degree with a major in Business Administration which was awarded to me by Fu-Jen University in Taipei in 2002. Although I graduate from school this summer and I am a beginner in this respect, I am qualified for the position according to the requirements which were described in your advertisement. First, one of my required courses is international financial management which makes me have a basic understanding about foreign exchange. Besides, teacher asked us to predict the forward foreign in actual environment. That makes me have a good connection between textbooks and actual conditions. And I convinced that it help me to apply what I have learned to my job effectively.
　Second, I am master in English. Because English is my minor subject, I have more chances to practice my English than others in not only writing but also listening. In addition, since I was young, I have great enthusiasm in learning English. I studied the Studio Classroom and listened to English songs. Sometimes, I saw the English series to improve my English. Even when I am a university student, a lot of textbooks are printed in English. My reading skill potentially improves. The facts show that I have sufficient ability to deal with the exchanges with foreign traders and survive in an international company.
　Third, although computer is not my major subject, we have many chances to make presentations by using computer science when I was university student. So I am familiar with some software package such as Word, Excel, Front Page, Power Point etc. Moreover, I spend much time surfing on the net, and I learn a lot when I use my computer. And I won't have great resistance when I encounter the new things about computer. It makes me flexible when I face the surrounding which computer is indispensable.
　About my life, I am from a family which is made of six members. It includes my parents, my older sister, my younger sister and my younger brother. My father is in construction business. My mother works in a school. My older sister is married and is a nurse in a hospital. My younger sister and brother are still students. My parents love their children, but they have many restrictions on them. The siblings have many conflict, however, they have thick affection to each other. My family life is happy and colorful. My hobbies include singing, reading books, surfing on the internet, and watching TV. I am a quite girl when I meet strangers, but I am active when I meet friends. I love laughing and trying new and exciting things. I am an optimistic person and have high expectation of myself. Now I still study hard to reach the goal. I think I will proceed to my goal in the near future and be a confident and successful woman.
I am confident to say that I am ready to face a brand new challenge. But I need a chance. I will do my best to offer my efforts and help the company I am working for develop better.
