My
name is Peggy Chen. I have read the advertisement published
on your web page of February 28, 2001. I
am really interested in the vacant position of a
talent teacher which you offered.
I
shall graduate from Fu-Jen University in 2001. My major is computer science
and my minor is English. I obtained good
grades in both fields. I believe that I am
suitable for the job, since my professional knowledge is sound.
During the university days, I participated
in the Society of CSIE (Computer Science
and Information Engineering), where I
was one of the executive officers to help develop the society’s public
relationships with other universities islandwide. Furthermore, I was the
acting representative for the 1996 class. From these experiences, I learned
essential skills about how to get along with people. I believe interaction
is an important factor when partners are working together in a team project.
Last but not least, I won the first honor
in the 1998 debate contest sponsored
by the Engineering College in my university. As
to my work experience, although I have never worked in a talent school,
I have had the experience of teaching. I have been a
private tutor for two years. I believe that I am really good at
it, because not only my students but
also their parents are satisfied with my teaching. I am teaching seven
students now. I teach them classical piano, and elementary mathematics.
I think that teaching is an interesting and wonderful career,
because different children have different characters.
I can enjoy my teaching from their different feedback to
me. As
to my private life, there are four people in my family. My father works
in an university. He is an open-minded
father. He always makes me laugh. My mother is a housewife, and she always
makes our home sweet and warm. My brother graduates from Fu-Fen University
this year, and he works in my uncle’s company now. As for me, I am an
enthusiastic, and outgoing girl.
I like to meet new people, and
I like to be
with people amiably. On
the other hand, I am an easy going person. All my friends like
me a lot. Of course, my students like me even more! |
