Summary:

Globalization and Antiglobalization

Globalization can't be exact definition, but it has getting its importance and prestige in now society. There're two things we should know about it. First, the globalization is a gradually change. Second, the process is not even to everyone. Especially in the third world. There're also oppose fighters for antiglobalization, including many unions. For examples, the labors, human rights groups etc. They persue a better treatment to make the globalization to benefit people, rather than an unfair treatment. In the economic diplomacy, they welcome the global companies, because these corporations can help the poor countries to overcome the poverty. But it has problems. The international companies have better work conditions than the local companies. Small companies can't defeat the conditions and finally lost their workers. Environmental organizations don't accept the globalization either. The nature of those developed countries has forced destruction and made the tourism crowds less. The corporations have too much power to control the economic. That makes small local companies face the bankrupcy. The power of the global companies are showed in these ways.

Conventional theories presume the lands where Angkor stands were chosen as a settlement site because of their strategic military position and agricultural potential. Alternative scholars, however, believe the geographical location of the Angkor complex and the arrangement of its temples was based on a planet-spanning sacred geography from archaic times. Using computer simulations it has been shown that the ground plan of the Angkor complex – the terrestrial placement of its principal temples - mirrors the stars in the constellation of Draco at the time of spring equinox in 10,500 BC. While the date of this astronomical alignment is far earlier than any known construction at Angkor, it appears that its purpose was to architecturally mirror the heavens in order to assist in the harmonization of the earth and the stars. Both the layout of the Angkor temples and iconographic nature of much its sculpture, particularly the asuras (‘demons’) and devas (‘deities’) are also intended to indicate the celestial phenomenon of the precession of the equinoxes and the slow transition from one astrological age to another. At the temple of Phnom Bakheng there are 108 surrounding towers. The number 108, considered sacred in both Hindu and Buddhist cosmologies, is the sum of 72 plus 36 (36 being 1/2 of 72). The number 72 is a primary number in the sequence of numbers linked to the earth’s axial precession, which causes the apparent alteration in the position of the constellations over the period of 25,920 years, or one degree every 72 years. Another mysterious fact about the Angkor complex is its location 72 degrees of longitude east of the Pyramids of Giza. In the article “Globalization and Antiglobalization”, the author wants to explain globalization and antiglobalization. In our life, there is globalization everywhere, so we must keep globalization in mind. Globalization will be the key to international peace and prosperity. Two views of the effects of globalization on the environment. Two views of the effects of globalization on income distribution .

I read the article about the travel information in Angkor Wat .It tells us which season is the suitable to vusist, and the virtually situation of the country,Combodia,is very poor of modern facilities.Becuse Combodia had been a long period of civil war ,there may be some lose mines, bombs, and rockets so we have to protect our owns safty to stay on the clear way.More and more visitors go there so there are more and more restaurants service many kinds of food to provide people from many country.

1. Compare article Compare with the article on the homepage of “www.surrealism.com”, the article mentioned that Dada movement, which surrealism was separated from, produced works of anti-art that deliberately defined reason. Also not appeared in the article I read before, it said that surrealism emphasis was not on negation as Dada movement does, but on positive expression, it represented a reaction against what it’s members saw as the destruction wrought by the ”rationalism”. And in the article, it mentioned that Andre’ Breton, one of the poet in early surrealism movement and the spokesman, said that surrealism means “an absolute reality, a surreality”, he saw the unconscious as the wellspring of the imagination and defined genius in terms of accessibility to that normally untapped realm.

2. Globalization and Antiglobalization In the article “Globalization and Antiglobalization”, the writer first discussed the definition of the word “globalization”, and basically it’s refer to the economies activities around the world, movement of population, and international knowledge and information flow. The globalization is not a new process, even it has been disrupted or slowed down by some reason, it still goes on by now. And the process didn’t spread evenly throughout the world, in some places, it’s highly globalizationed, but some place didn’t. Not all people in the world can accept the idea of globalization, many people oppose it to defense the rights for local people, they are organizations of atiglobalization, they focus on issues that globalizations make nonglobalizers take advantaged by those countries which are highly globalizationed, and the phenomenon makes “haves” to have more but “have-nots” to have less.

Globalization seems well with peace and flourish to the world, but someone be against it, called “Anntiglobalization”. They full of hostility due to the unfair salary, environmental and human rights. Some of then are provincial, they well use some militant motheds to against that. Another point, they want the benefits everybody rather than some international companies. Globalization is well to the Economies and jobs chances for developing contries, but disadvantage the well-jobs chance for developed countries, even make many environment problems. In the end, globalization aruge the issiue about that maybe the local companies will be stronger and more efficient companies than global companies.

2. In the article’’ globalization ‘’ I find have many different and same points than anthor one’’ what is Globalization ‘’ .Both the same are that in favor of the economic interests of gigantic transational corporations. And northern countries want to open world markets to their goods and take advantage of abundant, cheap labor in the South, policies often supported by Southern elites. And both the different are that in its most innocuous sense, globalization simply refers to the complex of forces that toward a single world society. The the article says increasingly widespread use of English as an international language. And it is important to note that no aspect of globalization is subject to democratic oversight, and none of the institutions of globalization ,suck as the World Bank, are transparent.

Summary:

The article” Globalization and Antiglobalization” presented that globalization is the increasing integration of economies around the world, the movement of people, and the international flow of knowledge and information. There are two important points to keep in mind that it is not a new process and it has not spread evenly throughout the world. The globalizationists believe that it is the key to peace and prosperity, while the antiglobalizationists view it with fear and hostility, especially labor union leaders. Many environmental organizations, which also oppose globalization, believe that corporations was polluting the air and water. Antiglobalizationists think that corporations have much more power than many national governments. However, globalizationists argue that when local companies are forced to compete in the global marketplace, they become stronger and more efficient companies.

It also says that globalization defenders believe it is the key to international peace and properity. But some antiglobalizationist insist that international trade and activity should be curtailed.

1.Globalization and antiglobalization In this artucle, the author is to talk about that the word "globalization" can see or hear from everywhere, like televition, newspaper or magazine,it means that it has become a part of the world's vocabulary, the author also has some point about "globalization":some defenders of globalization want to create a borderless world, but the gap between wealthy people and poor ones is one of problems that have to solve.Other issues for example, the environmental organization also disagree with globaization. So,it will be a long road to let globalization international peace and prosperity.

2. I found the other article about post-impressionism ,the content is closeness to my report, but this article describe Paul Cezanne was much less scientific in his approach to painting than was Seurat. His paint seems to be layed down in patches of color, dividing his canvases into many various planes. His colors are bright, and there is frequently a confusing sense of perspective. There is usually a very limited sense of depth and the contents of his still-lifes seem to almost topple out of balance. All of this is more purposeful than one might normally conclude, for it adds a sense of tension to the artwork, which prevents the "still" life from being quite as static. Cezanne's decision to defy the laws of perspective (and gravity) will greatly influence Picasso and Braque's invention of cubism (look especially at his landscapes, below, to see this relationship). With Cezanne, it becomes clear that art is not merely a matter of copying what one sees. The modern artist's mission becomes the purpose of re-creating the world to fit the needs of art.

In the article “Globalization and Anti-globalization”, there are some features of globalization. Firstly, the increasing integration of economies around the world secondly, the movement of people .Thirdly, the flow of knowledge and information .Although globalization is a constant process, some people believe globalization is not positive to the world. Opponents including labor unions, human rights groups and environmental organizations believe that international trade and activity should be greatly curtailed and that power should be returned to the national, regional and local level. Second, international trade and cooperation still exist but benefit people in general rather than giant corporations. Third, the gap between haves and hove-not will be more serious thought the process of globalization. Forth, globalization has taken well-paying jobs away from works in developed countries and moved them to developing countries. Fifth, the environmental laws in developing countries are likely to be weaker than those in industrialized countries. Sixth the global corporations have too much power. The discussion of globalization and anti-globalization still occurs around the world, and the process of globalization also spreads in somewhere.
