Instructions about How to Access Readings

1. PDF file:

Sometimes the readings take a while to open, and you need an Adobe reader to open PDF files, but I assume that you have one of them on your computer. They are pretty standard, especially with academics. If you don't, you can have a free download here.

2. Go to Unit One.

Open to Unit One and click on the title of Jandt's book: Intercultural Communication. This will open a new window. On the left will be a graphic of the book and the information about it, and on the right will be the class name and links to the chapters. So, for instance, click on "Chap 1 The Dispute over Defining Culture". This will open yet another window and your Adobe Reader. It's a large file, so it will take a while to open.

3. Save a copy.

Finally, it's downloaded. Once it's downloaded, you can save it. You can click the little button on the tool bar that says Save a Copy with an icon of a disk and you can save the information on your computer. Or you could print it if you prefer. I think saving is your best option, because you can always print it later.
