Argue for the strategy that promote more effective learning environment at all levels in ESL/EFL classrooms. Besides using the articles, you may also use other materials (from the course or from your own extra readings) or experiences/examples to support you.

Debate format

(a)   1st Pro will define the topic & present the team’s affirmation

(b)  1st Con will define the topic & present the team’s affirmation

(c)   2nd Pro will reaffirm the Pro team line & present major points of the case

(d)  2nd Con will reaffirm the Pro team line & present major points of the case

(e)   3rd Pro will rebut points of Con case

(f)    3rd Con will rebut points of Pro case

(g)   Last Pro will present a summary of Pro team’s case

(h)   Last Con will present a summary of Pro team’s case

 

 

Court Process:

(1)  Plaintiff: Introduction of the case

(2)  Defendant: Introduction of the case

(3)  Plaintiff: Question the witness

(4)  Defendant: Question the witness

(5)  Plaintiff: Conclusion

(6)  Defendant: Conclusion

(7)  Jury’s verdict

 

These groups can select a lawyer to talk, 2 witnesses to provide evidence, and another lawyer to give conclusion. Also, please assign a judge among yourselves out of these two groups. The commenting audience will be the jury.
