CREATIVE WRITING: EXERCISE 8 back to activity & exercise

Look at the following picture. A man from the City Pound (an organization

that catches dogs that are running around the city) has just put his net
over a large mean dog. He says, "Now what?" Please create your own
    version of the story.

Version 1

Man from the City Pound: Now what?

Mean Dog: Hm, you look quite puzzled today.  Why don’t you take a rest in your van?

Version 2
Man from the City Pound: Now what?
Mean Dog: Help! Help!

Man from the City Pound: Ha, ha, ha!  You will be my dinner tonight.

I know it’s gonna be delicious.

(Son of Mean Dog came to his Dad’s rescue.  He’s even larger and meaner than his Dad.)

Son of Mean Dog: Hey, man, stop it!  You’d better release my Dad right now,

or you’ll find “your” son in the cage of the zoo tomorrow.

Version 3
Man from the City Pound: Now what?
Mean Dog: You just made a real big mistake, man.
(All of a sudden, Mean Dog put the net over Man from the City Pound.)
Man from the City Pound: Help! Somebody, help me, please!

Version 4
Man from the City Pound: Now what?
Mean Dog: OK, you win.  Let’s play another round!
(They were actually playing the game of run-and-catch.)

Version 5
Man from the City Pound: Now what?
Mean Dog: Hey, look here.  I’ve got the ID chain on me!

Man from the City Pound: Oh, I’m so sorry!
