	Not only women but also men like discount. We often say to the salesclerk, “Can you give me a special discount?” when we are buying things. In fact, discount is only a businessmen’s strategy of selling their products. As we can see there are many air conditioner advertisements on TV in winter season or in the beginning of summer season. Winter is the time when businessmen don’t want to have much stock in the shop so they sell them out. It is customer’s good luck to buy air conditioner in winter sales at very cheap prices. In the beginning of summer, they want to sell the air conditioners which are old models and attract fewer customers. Likewise, it is customer’s good luck to buy these old stuffs at very low prices. Not only the air conditioners are sold this way but so are clothes, electrical products, even food. But every thing has its own selling policies. For instance, clothes of last season are sold at discounted prices whereas latest electrical products knock out old products and are sold expensively. When food becomes overdue, it must be sold quickly. Discounting is such a policy to save the last pennies the businessmen can make. As a result, people who can afford to buy expensive things won’t buy cheap things with less money. These people may be right or may be wrong. It depends on how much budget he has in his pocket.
	If you want to be given a discount, there are three ways to make your dreams come true. First, go to buy things on the right time when things are out of season. Second, there are many coupons on newspaper, magazines and even on the internet. You can cut them down and use them when shopping. You can be given a big discount. Third, make friends with those who are selling the things you want to buy. This idea may look a little stupid but it is often cleverly used by many housewives and students.
	Maybe the right time is coming. Maybe you are holding a lot of coupons. Maybe you have friends who sell things you want. Do you want to go shopping now? Hope you have a good time with shopping.
