Reasons  for Women to Work and Not to Work Outside Home

There have been lots of discussions about whether women had better go out to work or be a housewife staying at home. But no one can deny that career women are becoming common during these years. We are in favor of women working outside home. The reasons are as follows.

First, with the growing of living standards, people have been putting more emphases on quality of life. For example, they do care about their housing conditions and demand for the latest for the electronic equipments such as hi- fi equipments, mp3 players and personal computers. They even care about brands of clothes. Of course, this trend is no exception for women; they want to live their life on their own. Women now can own the autonomy for their way of life if they make their own financial income. 

Second, woman should work outside home. Because men and women differ in both physical and mental aspects, women can play a different role in the work market from men. Men and women will achieve mutual understanding and respect for each other from their partnership at work. This harmonious collaboration can be regarded as the first step to build a happy family and a harmonious society.

Third, with the development of industry and the prosperity of economy, women do not have to confine themselves to traditional roles. They are not just home keepers taking care of children or doing endless chores all day long at home. They can do what they are able to and pursue their dreams bravely. They will no more worry about society constraint or living under man’s power; they can just be themselves and live on their own ways.

To sum up, we advocate for women going to work outside home, and hope that there are more and more female supervisors in industry. We are convinced that everyone has the right to lead his or her life independently.
