	Free from fear of crimes
	Nowadays many things attract our attention. It is difficult for us not to be tempted by these attractions. Therefore many people break laws because they can not resist these temptations. Some studies in 2005 show that crime rate such as gun fighting on street is rising to 15% compared with 2004. Besides, 70% of world population is using computer in searching information or communication on the internet. Online crimes such as internet romance, bank fraud or kidnapping are getting worse and worse. How to reduce crime rate is our major concern.
	First, education plays important role in reducing criminal cases. Teaching youngsters how to communicate with people in manners of articulation, correct information, and politeness can reduce conflict among teenagers. There are social skill curriculum, activities, and assessment materials to teach youngsters these skills. Teachers must have access to these materials to motivate students to practice. The followings are tips selected from curriculum materials to remind teachers that developing social skills actually shouldn’t be difficult tasks for youngsters.
	1. Identify targets for teenagers to achieve. For instance, inform student’s examples of good behavior in public.
	2. Create groups of 2-5 youngsters with similar skill defects. Small groups give students a chance to observe others, practice with peers, and receive feedback.
	3. Remove obstacles to learning such as closing class door or removing correction officers.
	4. Meet early in the day so that kids are attention and have the whole day to practice what they learn in the lesson.
	Second, employment helps people obey laws while unemployment causes crimes like murder, robbery, or theft when people are out of money. Government should solve economic problems such as inflation. Recession makes many people lose jobs and unable to afford basic necessities. Particularly, many college and university graduates are seeking jobs in tough job market each year. If a great number of young people can not get employed, many social problems will occur like suicide, mental disorder, or broken marriage. The government should exercise economic control to build security and safety for the rights of its compatriots. It is not fair to see decent citizens become victims of unnecessary crimes.
