Traveling

I had a wonderful travel experience when I was nine years old. Because my father had to go to India on business, my family members went with him. The time of travel was during my winter vacation, and the temperature was very cold in Taiwan. But the travel of India kept me warm during the winter vacation of this year.

It was my first time to go abroad, so I felt very excited. On arriving in India, my father went on his business, and my mother, sister, and me went sightseeing there. We had visited Delhi, Bombay, Aurangabad, Calcutta, and Agra. Aurangabad made me impressive most.

Aurangabad was a city constructed in 17^th century, and there were two famous rock caves attracting many travelers to visit. Because the rock caves were constructed about religion, it made me feel mysterious.

In addition to sightseeing, we also ate many kinds of Indian food everyday. This was the most interesting thing during the travel, because I like food more than scenery.

Before visiting India, poverty and backwardness was my impression on India. But after the trip, I discovered that its national characteristics actually were unity and harmony except Kashmir’s’ tendency toward Islam Pakistan. Indians are very faithful to their religion, as well as loyal to their country. The two spirits make us admire its people.

After the journey, I’d like to say that India is a mysterious, historic, and beautiful country. If I have one more chance to go abroad in the future, I will choose to go to India again.
