Two students ride to school and meet each other in the parking place

John:  Wow!  You choose this course, too!

Sam:   Yeah, I study in the Department of Physics, and you?

John:   Yes.  We’re classmates in the same class!  Let me introduce myself.  My
      name is Jun, graduated from Chien-Kao senior high.

Sam:   Wah!  I’m Si, from Da-Chi high school.  My friends like me cause I’m fun  
      to be with!

John:  It’s time to go to class.  Let’s go together.

In class, Mon and Ban sitting by the side of Si

Mike:   Hi!! I’m Mon from Chia-Yi, and you?

Sam:   I live in Taipei, and so does he.

Ban:    Well!  I’m from Taidong.  My name is Ban.  Mon and me live on campus. 
      We are roommates at I-Jan girls’ dorm.

Sam:   Oh, nice to meet you two!

John:  Why do you choose “history and culture”?  I didn’t get any staff to help 
      me at the first time.  All I can do is just wait for adding course.

Ban:    It makes know the world better.

Mike:   Luckily, I got one.

After class at the noon

John:  Would you like to dine together in “Science and Engineering Dining Hall”?

Ban:    I don’t want to!  Some senior students even told me food sanitation is
      not good there.  Many get sick after eating there.

John:  I don’t think so.  Let’s try it!  Don’t be afraid.

Ban:    …….Ok. Go.

In ”Science and Engineering Dining Hall”

Mike:  What club you join?  I’d like to join community service programs.

Sam:  I want to join Dancing Club. 

John: I see.  I’ll go to the wind band maybe.  I ‘m a band player in senior high  
    school, too.  I play trumpet.

Sam:  I’m flute major in high school.

All:      So cool!

Ban:   I have not decided yet.  Mmm …….. How about going to see the club
     performance?

All:      O.K

John: Oh!  My goodness!  I feel sick.  Maybe that’s true …….. ^^”….,feeling
     vomiting and diarrhea.  Ah~ I have to go to restroom, now.

Mike:  Fujen campus is so small.

Ban:   Small?!  I don’t think so!  It’s big enough!  You never see Tatang
     University. It’s the name matches the reality.  Small.

John: That’s my school before……I have study there for one year.

Sam:  You know?  Fu - Jen is governed by three churches.  Each church
     governs its own colleges.

Ban:   What church is our department belongs to?

John: It’s a member of “The Society of the Divine Word”, which also
     administers College of Foreign Language and College of Human Ecology!

All:      I see.

Mike:  Do you all have part time jobs?

Sam:  I’d like to be a tutor, but don’t know where to get some information.

Ban:   I ever saw some message on the bulletin board of registration office. 
     Let’s go t o see it!

John:  But I have some important things to do.  I’ll ask the teaching assistant
     about my homework.

Mike:  So do I.  My report isn’t completed, yet

Ban:   Maybe we can go to the Library of Science and Engineering at first, and
     then to the registration office.

All:      OK!  Let’s do it.

John:  Four freshmen start their new college life……….
