School Life 6

Narrator: It’s a Tuesday afternoon.  The first class has been cancelled.  Bill and
    Johnny are walking toward the dorm.

Billy:         I’m so tired.  I nearly can fall asleep once I stop talking to you.

Johnny:   What happened to you?  Are you sick?  It’s only the second class. 
    What did you do last night?

Billy:         Well, I was working on my homework and chatting with your friends
        via messenger.  And I finally could go to bed till three.

Johnny:   What?  Three o’clock!  That’s too bad.  I think you will have a hard
       time to take the test this afternoon.

Billy:         What?  What test?

Johnny:   It’s the English listening and speaking test.  I hope you won’t fall
       asleep while taking the test.

Billy:        Oh, ya.  I hope so.  I don’t think I’m doing so well in that class.  The  
       teacher seems to be upset with me.

Johnny:  Then you gotta work hard.  (Johnny sees two girls walking by) Hey,
       you see those two hot chicks?

Billy:         Yap, so what?  Are you gonna hook them up?

Johnny:   Um…… don’t know yet.  It depends.

Billy:         On what?

Johnny:   See if they are my types.

Billy:         What your type then?  Cute?  Sexy?

Johnny:   Um……I like amateur ones.  Come on; let’s go talk to them.

Billy:         Well, although I’m not interested in such things, I go with you in
        order to kill the time.

Johnny:    Hey, girls.  How are you guys doing?  I’m Johnny and this is Billy.

Billy:         Hello, how do you do?

Julia:        Do I know you?

Johnny:   I don’t think we have met each other before, but I think later you will
        be familiar with me.

Billy:        (Whispering) Hey, come on.  Don’t be silly!  She said she doesn’t know
       you.  You’ve got the brush-off.

May:        Well, I don’t think it’s necessary for us to get to know you guys. 
       We’ve gotta go to the class now.  Let’s go, Julia.

Julia:        (talking to May aside) Wait, May.  Don’t you think these guys are so
       cute and humorous?  It doesn’t matter if we don’t go to that stupid
       Chinese class today.  That’s so boring and I don’t like the teacher. 
       Why don’t we just skip the class and have fun with them?

May:        Ok, fine.  You stay and I’ll go to the class ‘cause it’s important for me
       to get g ood grades.  See you, then. (May leaves in a rush)

Johnny:   What happened to your friend?

Julia:        I have no idea at all.  But that’s ok.  Why don’t you introduce
       yourself? What is your name again?

Johnny:   My name is Johnny.  And he is Billy.  We major in applied
       mathematics.  How about you?

Julia:        I’m Julia and my friend’s name is May.  We are both English major. (
          cough )excuse me.  I think I have to go ‘cause I have an appointment
          with the professor.  So see you guys then.

Johnny:   Wait!

Billy:         Bye.

Johnny:   Oh, well. Everyone leaves. For now, what do you wanna do?

Julia:        Um…….let me think.  Did you eat yet?

Johnny:    Not yet.  You?

Julia:        Me either.  Let’s find a restaurant, sit down and eat.  How about
                 that?

Johnny:   Good idea!  Let’s go.
