Money and lottery

¡@
¡@ John:

ho¡K What can I do, Sally. I¡¦m running out of money again.

¡@
¡@ Sally: Again? Last week you just called your mom for money. Now you say that you're running out of money again? ¡@
¡@ John: I don't know...Every time when I notice that money has gone, I just can't help buying something that I want to buy. ¡@
¡@ Sally:

Now, what do you want to do?

¡@
¡@ John:

Have you watched the news? Someone won lottery last night.

¡@
¡@ Tina:

Wouldn¡¦t you go to buy lottery?

¡@
¡@ Tina:

I think you want to get the accidental fortune.

¡@
¡@ Sally: Don't you know that many winners of lottery decide to go abroad after they win the prize? They are afraid that their life is under danger because of their huge fortune. ¡@
¡@ Tina: But don't you know the mad scramble to buy lottery tickets by our people permeates Taiwan's society with a social mud flow of a love of idleness without working, a steadfast yearning for luck, and superstition. ¡@
¡@ John: I do realize it! But I think if I win the lottery I will have a lot of money, and I will not depress every time when I have no money. ¡@
¡@ Sally: And there are also people to point out that the vast majority of jackpot winners in foreign lotteries are by no means happy. ¡@
¡@ Tina: It's all about your attitude. Money is the indispensable thing in our life! ¡@
¡@ John: Though some people say that money is not the most important thing, without money, many things cannot be done. Because of our attitude in desiring money, it always makes us interested in lottery. ¡@
¡@ Tina: We have always advocated opening up the lottery, but we should also find ways to reduce the various kinds of harm it might do to a minimum. ¡@
¡@ Sally: I think you should train your ability to manage money. That is the best way to release your financial stress. ¡@
¡@ Tina: I have some advices for you. First, every time when you want to buy something, remember to think twice whether you need it or not. Second, you can keep account of what you spend in detail. You'll find you spend too much and buy a lot of stuff that are useless. ¡@
¡@ Sally:

So next time you will be more careful when you are purchasing.

¡@
¡@ John: Thanks for you advice. By the way, do you think I should take a part- time job? ¡@
¡@ Sally:

There are a lot of part-time jobs offered by shops around our school.

¡@
¡@ Tina: And work in library is a wonderful choice, because you can go there after class. You can study at the same time work. It is convenient. ¡@
¡@ John: Okay, I see. Thank you guys. You really help me a lot and I will learn how to manage money well. And I'll find a part- time job as soon as possible. ¡@
¡@ Tina: It's my pleasure. And next time if you have problem, I'd like to help you. ¡@
¡@ Sally:

But not persuade us to buy lottery.
