A: Ha, let’s talk about your travel experiences. What do you think traveling by
    yourself?

B: Mmm… I even went to many countries; I like Canada, Malaysia and Singapore by
    myself.

B: I think that travel is rewarding as it gives me a sense of achievement and
    greater freedom. And I understand many local customs and practices of
    countries, but it also takes a lot of preparation to arrange your own trip.

C: Yeah, that’s right. Although I never go to any country now, traveling around the
    world is my dream.

D: I agree. Independent travel is the most exciting thing. In fact, independent
    traveling makes me feel to hard because I don’t have too much money.

A: For me, language will be a big problem.

B: But do you know how to prepare a travel?

C: I think it may need so…much money, right?

D: Yeah, that will be a trouble.

A: Map, plane ticket, hotel accommodation…too many things need to prepare. I
    hate it.

B: Yes, maybe you’re right. But that is not the most important. Do you know the
    most important thing for independent traveling?

A: What is it?

B: Perhaps the most important item for a traveler is a guidebook. A good
    guidebook will include maps, transport information and suggestions for places
    to stay.

A: I think that may be good quality backpack is the best way to carry your gear. It
    is also important to have a safe bag that can be used to carry your tickets,
    passport, and money.

B: And remember that an entry visa for the country and a plane ticket must be
    organized a long time in advance.

D: Oh, I know. And I think our attitude is also important when we are guests in
    host countries.

C: I don’t know what you mean. For example…??

D: Be flexible, open- minded and well organized. When you are in Rome, you do
    Roman things. Learn appreciate different customs, different value systems.

A: Like what?

D: For example, you may miss a train or not be able to stay at a guesthouse
    because it is full.

C: And then?

D: Instead of getting upset, you need to be open- minded and find a solution.

A: That’s so complicated.

C: Not at all, you may go to tourist center which will provide you correct
    information on boarding.

B: Yeah, I agree. When you already prepare and begin to relax and enjoy it, you
    will certainly have a good amazing experience by independent travel.

A: I see.
