MONEY

¡@ ¡@ ¡@
¡@ 1. Discuss your attitude towards the money not belong to you. ¡@
¡@ A: I won¡¦t take it for granted to the money not belong to me because it¡¦s not the
money I earn. If my parents give the money to me, I will use it carefully and
cherish it. If that is the money someone just lost, I¡¦ll take it to the police office
and give the money back to the person.
¡@
¡@ ¡@ ¡@
¡@ A: Whether I will take the money as my own depends on the amount of it. If it is
more than ten thousand dollars, I will hand it to the police officer. But that is just
the way I think. I won¡¦t know if I will keep that thought when I really pick up so
much money not belong to me.
¡@
¡@ ¡@ ¡@
¡@ A: The money not belong to me is just something I don¡¦t have any idea.  Since it¡¦s
not my money, why do I have to care about it? That means if one day even I were
poor, I would not rob or steal.  However, there¡¦s some exception. If I see the
money on the floor or sidewalk, I¡¦ll see how much it is and where I am. Then, I¡¦ll
reconsider what to do to deal with the money. Moreover, if I won the lottery, which
is good money, I would make the best use of it.

A: Things that do not belong to me are certainly not my belongings.  Therefore I will
not steal it or do something bad to reach the purpose.

And if a wallet is dropped, I will immediately take it to the police station or a
related association nearby. Let¡¦s just think of this issue from the other aspect as if
I were the one who lost money. Undoubtedly I hope I will get it back. Therefore, to
cherish the things we have is the most important thing.

¡@ 2. Why is it difficult to break the cycle of poverty? ¡@
¡@ A: It is difficult to break the cycle of poverty, because the poor family is difficult to
make more money unless it wins lottery and suddenly becomes a millionaire. On
the other hand, for the poor to increase income and afford necessary things, they
must own their own businesses such as opening small shops of their own. They
won¡¦t have problems with personality since most of them are honest and hard
working. They can also go to school to learn how to do a business. However, they
don¡¦t have valuable things (This is the reason why they are poor.) to give to the
bank as deposit if they want to borrow money from it.  Since the bank doesn¡¦t lend
them money and they cannot start their own business, they remain poor.
¡@
¡@ ¡@ ¡@
¡@ 3. Why is lending money to the poor a safe bet? ¡@
¡@ A: When lending money to the poor, planning, education, and cooperation are very
important because the three ensure a loaner able to return money to the bank.
Besides, after people are successful with their business, they are willing to plow
the money and knowledge back to the community they come from. Loaning is no
more a matter of bad debit. Instead, it brings society welfare.
