Story:
Twenty thousand years ago, glaciers were overrunning the Earth, and creatures everywhere were fleeing the onslaught of the new age. But there were three animals traveling with different goals. Manny, Diego and Sod were a team. This quartet of misfits unexpectedly and reluctantly came together in a quest to return a human infant to his father. But lots of difficulties were lying before them. They passed the iceberg, contested food with the dodo birds and fought with saber-toothed tigers. They hang in the great courage and used the cohesive power to get the mission done. |

| The film starts with an amusing squirrel. The cute squirrel was finding a place to store his treasure and brought out some funny events. At last, he was stamped by a crew of prehistoric animals. These animals were going to move to warm south. But a woolly mammoth named Manny was walking to the opposite direction, then he accidentally rescued a sloth named Sid who was being left behind by his family and unfortunately Manny couldn’t get rid of Sid. Later Manny picked up a human baby near the river and Sid insisted to carry the baby back to the human. A crew of saber-toothed tigers tried to attack the human tribe. The leader of saber-toothed tigers wanted to get the baby but the baby’s mother took it and escaped. The tiger leader was angry and asked his companion Diego to bring it back. As Manny and Sid got the baby, Diego appeared. Because Manny was giant and strong, Diego couldn’t easily get the baby. Diego persuaded Manny and Sid to help them tracing human. This was how their adventure stared. In the journey, though Manny was still aware of Diego, Diego was keeping in touch with his saber-toothed tiger companions and they planned to ambush in the middle way. When walking in the vast, ice-covered land, they ran across the squirrel again. He was still very funny in his actions even though he didn’t speak one word. The animals kept on moving and when they were walking through an ice cave which was quickly melt because they were located at an erupting volcano. Manny saved Diego’s life in time. The event made Diego in dilemma because he did not know whether Manny was his friend or enemy. By the time, they were approaching the ambush point, Diego finally decided to let Manny and Sid off.
