• Scanning is to look for exact information

  by checking numbers, letters, steps, words denoting a sequence (like first, second,……..)

  and words in bold faced, italics, or in different font size, style or colors

• Scanning is often used to read web pages, novels, textbooks, manuals, magazines, newspapers and mails.
