An Old Tpwn
The old town centre was surrounded by weathered stone buildings from the turn of the century, their arched doors and windows like wizened eyes gazing out that the world passing by. A park dominated the town square, its grassy, hedge-verged expanse flanked by Main and Church Roads where townsˇ¦ folk parked at all times of the day and night. These thoroughfares, in turn, were lined with trees; oak, poplar and sycamore, their leaves a riot of color in fall.
