What are the Five Sentence Patterns?

There are five sentence patterns in the English language, and they are 

1. S + Vi

2. S + Vi + SC

3. S + Vt + O 

4. S + Vt + IO + DO

5. S + Vt + O + OC

( S= Subject 主詞

Vi= Intransitive Verb 不及物動詞

Vt= Transitive Verb 及物動詞

SC= Subject Compliment 主詞補語

O = Object 受詞

DO= Direct Object 直接受詞

IO= Indirect Object 間接受詞

OC= Object Compliment 受詞補語
