a. Adjectives, adjective phrases and adjective clauses are

    used to modify S (¥Dµü) 

         For example:    The lady    danced.

      The beautiful (adjective) lady danced yesterday.  

      The lady with long beautiful hair (adjective phrase) danced

       in the National Hall every Saturday night last month.

       The lady who came from Russia (adjective clause) danced

       in the party when I arrived yesterday.

 b. Nouns or noun phrases are also used sometime to 

      modify S  (¥Dµü).

      For example:      The lady    danced.

     movie, (noun phrase) danced in the party last night.
