What are the modifiers used to modify V (動詞)? 

 Adverbs, adverb phrases and adverb clauses are

   used to modify V (動詞) 

      For example:           The lady    danced.  

                                        S           Vi

     * The beautiful lady danced yesterday (adverb). 

      *The lady with long beautiful hair danced in the National

       Hall (adverb phrase) every Saturday night last month

       (adverb phrase). 

     *  The lady danced to make a living (adverb phrase). 

         (不定詞 表目的修飾動詞 dance)

      *The lady who came from Russia danced in the party 

        when I arrived yesterday (adverb clause).
