Being exposed to a variety of challenging
and interesting topics, you will practice English through a series of
communicative and meaningful activities such as participating in
discussion, presentation, role-plays, and projects. The purpose of the
program is to provide you the target language in functional situations
and to improve your competence and performance in social communication
skills.
Serving as a stepping-stone for the
business preparation, the course will explore the TOEIC (Test of
English for International Communication) Exam, too. |
We hope to create an active class—this is possible only if you are present. Thus, a gain, I would like to remind you that the regular a ttendance, team participation, and learning attitude are very important for your grade and progress in English. If you are absent, you are responsible for the materials that we cover in the class. If you miss the class more than THREE times (with excuses or non-excuses) , you will not pass the course. Besides, please make necessary preparation before you come to the class; failure to do so will positively affect your final grade. For the classroom etiquette, please turn off all the electronic machines during the class time; any noises from t ho se will interrupt the class procedure and this is impolite to your class!
