REQUIREMENTS & GRADING POLICY

You are expected to be an active, energetic, and positive member in this course. Thus, regular attendance, class participation, and learning attitude are very important for your grade and progress in study. Please make necessary preparation for each assigned topic; failure to do so will positively affect your final grade. If you are absent, you are responsible for the material that we cover in the class. Anyone who misses the class more than THREE times might not get the credits.

For the classroom etiquette, please listen to and show your respect for the views of your classmates. Please turn off all the electronic machines during the class time; any noises from those will interrupt the class procedure and this is impolite to your class!

The best way to improve your English speaking ability is to talk, talk, and talk some more! Don't worry about making mistakes and don't forget that you will never learn to communicate in English if you keep your mouth closed! I hope you can try your best to follow the course and find your ways to communicate effectively!
