教學目標 Objectives

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

•·        Organize their own process of preparation, planning, and writing;

•·        Feel comfortable expressing their opinions in writing;

•·        Use a variety of expository forms;

•·        Improve their own writing through the revision process.

Students with good basic English writing skills who want to learn more formal writing techniques.

A writing course focusing on the modes of writing needed for academic writing.

                First essay..........................................  20 narrative paper

                Second essay....................................... 20 process paper

                Third essay.......................................... 25 response paper

Graded exercises:

                Homework exercises ........................50

Performance:

                Midterm and Final (15 points each).................    30

                Chat participation                ............................  30

200 points then divided in half for a 100-point based score.
