商務溝通:口語溝通技巧 (Business Communication: Oral Communication Skills)

The digital course is designed to prepare students working in the international business field, which requires effective communicative skills in English. Introducing core business concepts, the course aims to help students understand their language proficiency, enhance their language communication skills, and foster their autonomous learning in Business English. Texts and topics chosen from the business world are broad rather than specialized, including topics such as Organization, Production, Marketing & Advertising, Business Travel, E-Commerce, and Press Conference. The communication skills covered include Meetings, Telephone Etiquette & Cold Calls, Presentations, and Negotiations. Being exposed to the interesting topics, students will practice English through a series of online collaborative activities, such as participating in e-discussion, recording the role-plays, doing mini-case studies, and presenting team projects. The purpose of all e-activities is to provide students the target language in functional settings and to improve their competence and performance in business communication. Therefore, the course can be an access for students to achieve their goals as effective communicators.

藉由介紹核心商務行銷觀念,本數位課程希望幫助學生從了解自己的語言能力開始、進而增加語言溝通技巧、並培養英文自主學習能力。本課程將介紹在英語商務溝通中,重要常見的商務字詞語彙;在主題安排上,廣泛選擇不同的商業主題範疇,例如組織結構  (Organization)、產品展示 (Production)、市場與行銷 (Marketing & Advertising)、商務差旅 (Business Travel)、電子商務 (E-Commerce)、舉辦記者會安排 (Press Conference)。 溝通技巧則包含商務會議 (Meetings)、行銷電話技巧 (Telephone etiquette & Cold calls)、簡報 (Presentation)等。

學生透過多元的商務主題單元,進行不同的線上學習活動,並在個人和小組報告過程中,充分練習英語溝通表達技巧。本課程也將提供ETS TOEIC (TEST OF ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION) 線上模擬測驗練習機制與解析多益聽力測驗題型,促使學生應用TOEIC測驗答題策略以瞭解語用情境,期許學生在修讀本課程後,能有效運用課程所學語彙溝通技巧,能在國際商務職場中成為有效的溝通者。
