[Attendance and Participation] [Grading System]

¡@
Your classroom performance is evaluated on the basis of participation and the quality of your homework.  Teachers establish rules so that they can discipline students to learn well and they will not be distracted by poor conduct from their classmates.  ¡§Attendance¡¨ and ¡§Participation¡¨ are the two factors to determine positive classroom performance.  Regulations are explained accordingly.  Please click the buttons to read further details.

The following will be useful guidelines for writing your homework.  To help you finish a good paper, the first thing you may ask is, ¡§If my English is good enough to say what I want to say about my reading or my own experience?¡¨ The answer is yes.  However, students often also need to know what topic they are going to write or speak about.  After this, they also need to decide on a title which expresses the focus of their ideas.  They also need to know several parts of the content the teacher specifically demand them to include in the paper they are doing.  Is it a composition, a conversation, a movie report, or an essay?  Or is it something else?  By the time students know the teacher¡¦s expectations,  they will be able to prepare an appropriate paper.  Students then will not finish a work the teacher does not feel is the appropriate type for the student to practice. The teacher knows a variety of practices that can develop the student¡¦s ability to use English well.  More than this, the format of a paper also important.  The appearance of a paper shows how much effort students have put into it. A paper with messy look very often reflects poor content, development, and organization. Also many language mistakes indicates a poor paper.  The format makes students consider the teacher¡¦s criteria and standards so that they are careful when doing homework.  To sum up, the teacher¡¦s requirements provide guidance for students to write a paper of quality.
