This section provides practical lesson plans for the first two
years of senior high schools. Each plan is task-based and related
to topics/titles in Far East English Reader for Senior
High Schools. If your school uses different textbooks,
these lesson plans can still be your reference. They contain
teaching notes, task description and student sheets (for the
second-year pupils).
Generally speaking, senior high pupils in the first two years
feel less immediate pressure than the third-year. Thus, the
task-based lesson plans are suggested for teaching in these
two years. Considering heavy workload students may have in the
school term, the instructor may arrange two tasks separately
around the beginning of the semester and after the end of the
first periodic exam.
